Bess Hayles is beginning her fifteenth year teaching French in Kansas City. She currently teaches all levels, from beginner to IB, at Lee's Summit High School. In addition to classroom teaching, Bess has worked on curriculum and novels with Teacher's Discovery and TPRS Books, presented workshops on TPRS nationwide, and has presented at ACTFL, FLAM and NTPRS conferences. One of her passions is bringing in diverse voices and equity practices into education. When not thinking about teaching, she tries to keep up with her husband and five kids.
