Dr. Brian Santos has taught Spanish for the past 16 years to high school and community college students.  In the classroom, he champions comprehensible input, task-based output activities, and unconditional positive regard. Dr. Santos is a graduate of Truman State University's M.A.E. program in Foreign Language Instruction and UMSL's doctoral program in Adult and Higher Education. He is native of suburban Chicago and is a first-generation Filipino American; in his free time, he enjoys word puzzles, music, and tennis.  In 2015, Dr. Santos was honored with the FLAM Distinguished Educator Award.
